I Read ALL the Things! | Weekly Update Jan 8-14, 2024

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. We’re back with another weekly update! I’m still not sure how I want to go about doing these, but I’m going to try something new for next week so we’ll see how it all plays out.

But for this week, I’m just going to review the books that I read and let you know my plans for next week. I didn’t really watch much and only finished one webtoon that I remember. I think I dropped another, but I don’t remember so I won’t be talking about that.

Anyway, enough of that intro chit chat, let’s get into this.

All My Ongoing Series | 2024 Goals

So, I don’t think I put it in my official goals, but let’s be real, we all have the goal to finish more series. So, I made a page on Notion where I plan on tracking any series I was reading as the year started, series I finish this year, and series that I want to read.

For this post, we’re only going to be focusing on series I’ve already started. If you want me to do a post with series I want to read, then let me know!

Just a last note that I didn’t count graphic novels in this, really. I haven’t decided how I want to track those just yet, so I’m not going to count most of them in this spread. Oh! And romance “series” were… confusing. Some I counted, some I didn’t. I could definitely make a post on JUST the romance series/authors I want to read more from since those are pretty much the same idea to me.

Now, let’s get into this!

2024 Goals | Mostly Reading, But Some Social Media Goals!

Hey everyone! We’re finally making progress on these posts. This is definitely one that I really wanted to get done in December, but that’s okay. It’s totally okay that this is late, though. Life be doing its thing.

I kind of shared some of my goals in my January Hopefuls list, but that’s perfectly okay. I’ll be sharing the books that I chose for my 12 challenges and explain my 24 in 2024 a bit more. I’ll share the monthly challenges I’m doing and the prompt related ones. Then a few goals I have for my content creation.

Anyway, there’s a lot to talk about, so let’s just get to it before these babies wake up from their naps.

First Update of the Year!!! | Weekly Update Jan 1-7, 2024

I am so excited to be doing my first weekly update of the YEAR! Holy moly. If you’re new here, I like to wrap up each week by talking about what I accomplished the week before and what I hope to do this coming week.

So today’s weekly update I’ll be going over the book that I finished this week, the webtoon I finished, and then my plans for next week. I didn’t really watch much TV except what I’m currently watching, so I’ll talk about that in between wrapping up last week and talking about this week.

Anyway, let’s just get right into this.

5 Books That I Don’t Hear About Often

Good morning everyone. It’s been a bit of time. Are we surprised? No. I’m going to talk about what’s going on a bit on Monday, hopefully. I plan on working on a few posts today. So I’ll go more into it then.

But until then, let’s talk about some books that I don’t tend to see on BookTube, Bookstagram, or any book blogs. Just because I don’t see them, doesn’t mean they aren’t around though. I’ve seen them in a few places here and there, but generally they don’t get the hype that I’ve seen other books get.

These are also books from my TBR so I can’t really say if I enjoy them or not. Anyway, let’s get right into this and as always, the links for buying these books are through BookShop and Golden Bee Bookshop.

September Wrap Up | 2020

Good evening everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Today I’m going to be talking about all of the books that I finished in the month of September. While September wasn’t my best reading month this year, it also wasn’t my worst. I’m finally getting back into reading more and I’m absolutely loving it!

Sorry this post is going up so late. I was honestly dreading it a bit. I hate doing wrap ups for some reason. But I like having them done.

Comment with what books you all finished in the month of September or your favorite read if you read more than one!

Don’t forget that I will be leaving links to purchase these books through BookShop and my local bookstore Golden Bee Bookshop.

Let’s get right into this because this is going to be a decently long post.

My Favorite My Hero Academia Characters | Class 1A Only

Good morning everyone! Today I was going to share some of my favorite screenshots from Animal Crossing, but I decided to not do that since I just shared some yesterday and because I really don’t want to get on my computer right now (I’m writing this on my iPad).

So I was looking around my living room and I saw my stack of volumes of My Hero Academia that I have left to read. And I decided to share my favorite characters from the manga!

This is going to be limited to just the students in class 1A, though. I will do one for heroes, villains, and overall everyone if you would like! Just let me know a category of characters you’d like to know my favorites (or even least favorites) of and I can always do that!

But, that all being said, let’s just get into this. Remember that this will all be spoiler free, so even if you haven’t read the series or watched the anime, you’ll be fine. I’m not even done with it yet!

TBR Highs and Lows Check-in and TBR Updates

Good morning everyone! I meant to have this going up yesterday, but I haven’t been doing great lately, mentally. I’m trying to get better. It’s getting there. I’m having a bit more motivation now, which is a good sign.

So, since I didn’t get the chance to post this yesterday, I’m going to end up posting two things today. But first is this.

I’ll be taking a look back at the post I had go up last week called TBR Highs and Lows. I’ll be letting you all know what I’m keeping on my TBR and what I’m going to be getting rid of.

Along with that, I made some changed to how I’m setting up my TBRs every month. I have a general “formula” I go by and I’m going to be making a change to it.

So all that being said, let’s get into it!
